Hello Backers,
We've taken a little longer to write a new update as we had not really recent news but today we'd like to write that 80% of all orders have already been shipped.
We started shipping them on August 10th and finished shipping the 2nd batch yesterday. Although we were advanced with production, we had a little delay for the Joplins Wayfarers to arrive at our warehouses because of customs. To all our USA orders, you might expect to receive it pretty soon as we are shipping most of the Americas orders from our new warehouse in Kentucky.
If you are a backer who made a recent order more towards the end of the campaign and has already answered the survey, please wait as we are preparing our 3rd batch to ship. Also if you have just placed an order and did not receive the survey, please allow 11 days, that's the time for our BackerKit software to import your order and send it to you.
For now, that's it we want to say and we would like to ask you one thing:
As you receive your Joplins, if you can send a picture of it being unpacked, or still in the package or you wearing it, that would be amazing as we would like to make a mosaic using these pics from all our backers around the world and tag the place from where it is from. We have had pledges from really everywhere and it would be awesome to spread this out and make our disruptive Eco-friendly Joplins Sunglasses stand out even more. Please send it to us through any of the options you would like to below:

The best news is (sit tight): as we expected to hit our target, we have already started production and we forecast starting to ship the first batches earlier than assumed! So keep the eyes on your Inbox, we will send a survey soon asking you to select which Joplins Wayfarer you want! If you already received the early backer survey, you can easily disconsider this one.
Indiegogo invited us to make a one time extension for 30 more days. Since we expect some newspapers to write about us in the upcoming weeks, we've decided to give it a yes! This means that you can expect the Joplins Wayfarers with special discounts for some more time here on Indiegogo. You can share it with your friends, so everyone of them is able to claim a Joplins Wayfarer with the special discount!
